Key assignments undertaken by the firm (including as a sub-contractor):

  • Assessment of EBRD (ongoing). Undertaking a review of EBRD’s strategic, operational, relationship and performance management and its results for the OECD’s Multilateral Organization Performance Assessment Network.
  • Assessment of IFC (ongoing). Undertaking a review of IFC’s relationship management for the OECD’s Multilateral Organization Performance Assessment Network.
  • Assessment of IDB Invest. Undertook a selective review of IDB Invest’s strategic, relationship and performance management for the OECD’s Multilateral Organization Performance Assessment Network.
  • Independent Evaluation of the 2013-2020 Private Sector Development Strategy of the African Development Bank.  Led preparation of summary evaluation report and three background reports - literature review and benchmarking, country case studies and portfolio review and institutional performance (Evaluation AfDB Private Sector Development Strategy 2013-2019).
  • Synthesis of Private Sector Development evaluations in Africa for the Independent Development Evaluation of the African Development Bank.  Led preparation of background report for synthesis (Private Sector Led Growth: Lessons Of Experience).
  • Review of the African Development Bank 2013-2017 Financial Sector Development Policy and Strategy. Led formative evaluation conducted to review progress and make recommendations for formulation of subsequent strategy.
  • Independent Evaluation of the Asian Development Fund XI and 12.  Part of team with responsibility for development finance and private sector development evaluations (Asian Development Fund XI and 12 Evaluation).
  • Independent Evaluation of the Private Sector Development Synergy of the entities of the Islamic Development Bank Group.  Part of team with responsibility for country, thematic and sector case studies (IsDB Synergy Synthesis Report).
  • European Commission 2015 Accountability Report on Financing for Development.  Part of team with responsibility for private finance for development chapter including private sector investment, corporate social responsibility, trade and development and remittances.
  • Advice to sovereign wealth fund in evaluating and structuring public/private agribusiness investments in North Africa.
